1. Overview

PrePA Path ("we", "us", or "our") is a mobile application designed to help pre-physician assistant students track their clinical hours, manage school applications, and prepare for the PA school admissions process. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about what we collect and how we use it.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the app's features:

• Account information: Your email address and full name, provided when you create an account.
• Hours log: Clinical hours entries you create, including category (patient care, shadowing, volunteer, research, leadership, work, or other), hours, dates, and optional notes.
• Target schools: PA programs you add to your list, along with requirements and application status you enter.
• Interview prep notes: Any notes or content you save in the interview prep section.
• Community posts: Content you choose to post in the in-app community, which is visible to other users.

We do not collect your location, access your camera or microphone, send push notifications, or use any advertising or analytics tracking.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the app's features.
• To sync your data across devices via your account.
• To display community posts to other logged-in users (only content you explicitly post).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party backend-as-a-service provider. All data is protected by row-level security policies — each user can only access their own data. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 8 below). We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

PrePA Path is intended for users who are 17 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time (which may limit app functionality).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
